About Us

Our Background

Alpha Ensure was started in 2023 out of our home with the goal of helping people get the best coverage for the best price, as easy as possible, with no pressure and zero shady gimics.

Chris Irwin

—Principal Agent

Chris is originally from Lindstrom, MN but grew up in the St. Paul area. He is a Navy vet having first enlisted after the first Gulf War and served for 6 years (1992-1998) as an Aircraft Structural Mechanic. Afterward, he worked in IT for more than 20 years and held positions as a Java Web Developer, DevOps Automation Engineer, ITSEC Security Analyist and Executive Management.

Melissa Irwin

—Sales & Marketing Strategy

Melissa was born and raised in Vadnais Heights, MN. She met Chris through his youngest sister, Jill, after she finished high school. They were married on the north shore of Kauai (see the main image at the top), have been best friends since, and the rest is history. Melissa is currently a sales manager at a local car dealership, and helps out here at Alpha Ensure part-time.

Our Family History

Together, Melissa and I have 3 children: Alex [26], Olivia [20], and Sofie [17], two grandchildren: Nova[5] and Jade[2], one Dog (a Southern Blackmouth Cur named Ensign) and one Cat (an Orange cat named Ozzy).

We moved to St. Joseph Township (between Somerset and Hudson) in 2020 and spend most of our free time boating in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter. We also love concerts, taking cross-country road trips and exploring our beautiful country.
